- Planning estimates from geometry, generic absorption coefficients and rules of thumb. It is a workbook, not an acoustic simulator, and not a substitute for measuring the room
- The free Room Mode, Speaker Placement and RT60 tools on this site give quick interactive answers. The Toolkit does not claim different or more accurate physics: it adds a connected, editable, saveable project

I already use the free tools. What does the Toolkit add?
The free tools answer one question at a time, with interactive charts. The Toolkit's Studio Project Workbook is a file you keep: one room entered once, carried through room modes, two speaker layouts side by side, RT60 before and after treatment and a treatment plan with your own costs, ending in a printable summary. It also includes the guides, a measurement guide and a setup checklist.
Is it a simulator?
No. It calculates room modes, distances and Sabine RT60 from the numbers you enter, and says where a result is a rule of thumb. Measure the real room to confirm.
Which spreadsheet apps work?
Excel 2016 or later, Google Sheets and LibreOffice Calc. The workbooks use standard functions, with no macros or add-ins.
I only need the RT60 workbook or the treatment planner. Should I still buy the Toolkit?
If you only need one of those, the standalone product is the better fit. The Toolkit makes sense when you want the connected project workbook and the guides as well.
